Lifecycle Stage: Detailed Design
TiPS Services provide a foundation to transition your Alarm Philosophy to a working alarm system design
Alarm Management Detailed Design consists of:
- Specifying alarm attributes and other alarm characteristics
- Designating how alarms are handled by the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) including the display of alarms and annunciation of alarms
- Identifying requirements for any advanced alarming techniques
TiPS employs HMI design, human factors, and control room management subject matter experts which help support detailed HMI design including alarm handling consistent with industry best practices. We take a flexible approach and can offer workshops, design documents, or project implementations based on your individual needs. In addition, our Alarm KB product serves as a centralized database to document and record alarm attributes and key alarm characteristics.
