AVEVA Edge (formerly InduSoft Web Studio) alarm and event data is available through a SQL Server database that is configured in the project settings in the AVEVA Edge development environment. This data is updated in real-time to LogMate by using a Capture OLEDB port.

TiPS also collects the alarm configuration information from AVEVA Edge through the same database that the alarm and event data is stored in. The LogMate KB Agent can be configured to import and provide a management of change process to review subsequent changes to the AVEVA Edge alarm system. The KB Agent can be scheduled to automatically import records for user review in TiPSView.
